No. Guests open a secure check-in page in their mobile browser. No app download is required.

AADHAARDoes the hotel need to keep photocopies of Aadhaar?

Not for routine check-ins. Guests share their details digitally from their own phone. Card pictures are kept only if the hotel turns that on and the guest agrees.

VERIFICATIONCan guests refuse Aadhaar verification?

Yes. Aadhaar verification is done only with guest consent, and reception can check the guest in with another ID.

DATACan a hotel retrieve records during an official enquiry?

Yes. Authorised staff can review the guest register and look up retained records, within the hotel's retention period and subject to applicable law.
